Browser-based upload experience
Upload portal
A client document upload portal that does not require a client login
Give clients one secure place to upload the files you requested, without asking them to remember another password.
What your client sees
One link, named items, no account required
Each requested document appears as its own item. The recipient uploads from their browser and sees what is still missing.
- Photo ID, W-9, and Proof of Income requested in one upload
- Each item shows a clear Uploaded status
- Works in any mobile browser, no app or password

Less portal, more completion
For most small firms, the hard part is not storage. It is getting the client to actually complete the upload.
Every extra step between the request and the file is a chance for the client to drop off. The SendMeDocs upload page opens in a browser, lists what you asked for as a checklist, and accepts uploads from any device. No app, no account, no password reset. The closer the friction gets to zero, the more uploads finish on the first try.
No app install or account setup for the recipient
Checklist-style requests for clearer expectations
Email and SMS delivery for faster response
Made for document requests
SendMeDocs keeps the upload experience focused on the single job of getting the right files back to your team.
It is intentionally narrower than a full practice portal. There is no messaging tab, no billing tab, no calendar. Templates make repeat asks one click, the dashboard shows status without scrolling, and retention rules clear old files automatically. If you need a broader system, see how SendMeDocs sits next to TaxDome or Content Snare.

Questions
Is SendMeDocs a full client portal?
No. It is intentionally narrower: secure document requests, uploads, review, retention, and delivery workflows.
Can clients upload from mobile?
Yes. The upload flow works in any phone browser. Most clients complete the upload from a phone, even when the request was emailed to a desktop.
What if the client never responds?
You can resend the link, switch from email to SMS, or set automatic reminders on the request. The dashboard shows you exactly which items are still outstanding.
Is there a file-size limit?
Uploads are sized for the documents most small firms collect (IDs, statements, signed PDFs, intake forms). Specific limits are documented in the product; very large media files are not the target use case.
Can my team see who uploaded what?
Yes. The dashboard records every uploaded file with the request, recipient, and timestamp. Useful when a partner or auditor asks "did we ever receive that document?"
