How does the trial work?
Every new account starts with a 7-day trial on the Standard plan. Your card is only charged when the trial ends. You can switch to Pro or Pay as you go at any time during or after the trial.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, switch plans anytime from your dashboard. Upgrading to a higher-cost plan is prorated and takes effect immediately. Switching to a lower-cost plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. Switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
How does annual billing work?
Pay upfront for the year and save. Annual plans are billed as a single payment — $120/year for Standard, $252/year for Pro.
What counts as a "request"?
One request = one set of documents from one person. Each request gets its own upload link. Every request — whether you create it from the dashboard, the API, or an AI assistant — draws from the same monthly pool. When the pool is used, overflow requests are charged at $0.10 each from your purchased credit balance.
What happens to files after the retention period?
Sensitive documents don't stick around. Files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers after your plan's retention window — 7 days on Pay as you go, 7 days on Standard, 30 days on Pro. Download what you need before then. This is a security feature: your clients' documents aren't sitting in someone else's cloud indefinitely.
Do you support HIPAA?
Yes. SendMeDocs implements the technical and organizational safeguards required to protect PHI. We offer a self-serve Business Associate Agreement at no additional cost on any paid plan. Sign it from your dashboard in seconds.
Can I use AI assistants with SendMeDocs?
