SMS Consent & Messaging Disclosure
SendMeDocs uses text messages to deliver secure document upload links to recipients. This page describes how we use SMS, what messages you can expect, and how to opt out.
Voice consent script
Before sending a text message, our users obtain verbal consent from the recipient using the following script:
What messages will I receive?
If you consent, you may receive the following types of text messages from SendMeDocs:
- A secure link to upload requested documents
- Reminder messages if documents have not yet been uploaded
- Confirmation that your upload was received
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You will typically receive 1–5 messages per document request. Messages are only sent in connection with a specific request from a business you have a relationship with.
Opt-out
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from SendMeDocs. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. To resume messages, reply START.

Costs
Message and data rates may apply. SendMeDocs does not charge recipients for text messages, but your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply.
Privacy
Your phone number is used only to deliver messages related to your document request. We do not sell, share, or use your phone number for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
